How far is the Farm from the beach?
Our nearest beach is Praia Da Luz that is about 5 km away. It is about 8 min drive by car.
Do we need a car to get around?
Yes, car is recommend to see the beauty of the Algarve.
How can I get from the Faro Airport to the Farm?
The easiest and best way is to rent a car and drive. Drive takes about 50-60 mins
How to book my stay?
The easiest way is to book on our website. If you have special wishes or want to book more accommodations, contact us through email.
Why there is no wifi in the accommodation?
At Quinta do Catalao, we believe that holidays should be a time to rest and disconnect from the digital world. Staying in our accommodation without wifi allows people to truly relax and recharge. It is an opportunity to focus on spending quality time with family or friends, away from the distractions of the online world.
We also receive many positive reviews from our guests who appreciate being able to take a break from their phones and computers while they are on vacation. Are bathrobes, yoga mats and beach towels free of charge?
f you need bathrobe, yoga mats and beach towels are free of charged. Please let us know before your arrival if you need one, specially yoga mats.
Do you have baby cot and high chair available?
Babies until 2 years old seep free of charged if they sleep with parents in bed. Baby cot for whole stay is extra charged 20 euro. And need to be book in advance.

Are there many mosquitos?
Here in this region there are almost no mosquitos. There is nothing wet around – any pound or lake. Of course occasionally one or two mosquitos can appear but usually we do not have them.
Is it not too hot without AC?
In our region we have always some breeze during the day. In the night temperature drops down, so it is pleasant to sleep. Evenings are much cooler than day.
